About

A spotter is the person who makes the hard lift possible

They do not lift the weight for you. They stand behind the bar so you can push further than you would dare on your own. That is the whole idea behind the name — and behind the product.

Why this exists

Spotterz started with a pattern that kept repeating in Bangalore gyms. The best trainer on the floor — the one who actually knew programming, who people queued for — had eleven clients and no idea where the twelfth was coming from. Meanwhile the trainer with the better camera had a full roster.

That is not a talent problem. It is a distribution problem. Coaching is a real business, and most trainers in India are running it out of an Instagram inbox with no profile, no way to prove their certifications, and no record of the results they have delivered.

So the goal here is narrow and specific: help good trainers get found by people who are already looking, and give them the tools to keep those clients once they arrive. Not another directory. The place a trainer runs their business from.

Spotterz is built and run from Bangalore by Srikanth V, and being one person shapes what gets made. There is no growth target that demands shipping something that does not work yet, and the business model is deliberately boring — trainers pay ₹699 a month, and nothing is taken from what they charge their clients. When Spotterz only makes money if a trainer thinks the listing is worth keeping, the incentives point the right way.

What we will not do

  • Take a commission on your coaching fees.

  • Claim a trainer is verified when nobody checked.

  • Publish a number we cannot count from real data.

  • Ship a feature to look impressive and quietly leave it broken.

Where this is going

An honest roadmap, including the part that is not built yet.

Live now

Profiles, plans and progress

Public trainer profiles, certificate verification, workout and diet builders, client chat, bookings and progress tracking.

Being built

Payments between client and trainer

Right now you settle fees directly with your trainer. Bringing that in-app is the next serious piece of work — done properly, or not at all.

Later

Tools that earn their keep

Ideas we like: renewal reminders, shareable transformation pages, group coaching. Nothing ships until it clearly helps a trainer get or keep a client.

Everyone needs a spotter

If you coach for a living, this was built for you.
